The "M" Family: Old Town Alexandria | Northern Virginia Family Photographer

Yesterday I met up with this gorgeous family in Old Town Alexandria for a family session! Their little one is about 2 years old so I knew it was going to be a challenge! All 2 year olds make it their mission to make my job as hard as possible, one of these days I'm going to do a photo montage of all my two year olds making grumpy faces! :-) Little "M" was adorable so whether she was making a happy face or a grumpy it didn't matter! We even made it over to the Farmers Market and let "M" partake in some yummy, fresh produce and listen to the street musicians. If you haven't been to a farmers market recently I encourage you to go and support your local farmers! All in all, a fun morning spent together! Thanks "M" family!

Public Service Announcement: The Vision Council | Washington, DC Editorial Photographer

Over the past year I've been working with The Vision Council off and on helping them update their head shots. I've LOVED working with this office! I call them my Office away from home since I no longer work in an office with coworkers! They are so much fun to work with! Anyway, they are now doing a PSA to encourage the use of sunglasses and asked me to photograph this ad for them. It was a lot of fun to do and I also got to work with an amazing colleague Marta Locklear who assisted me on this job. Brand Spanking New Baby Girl "C" | Northern Virginia Newborn Photographer

A few weeks ago you may remember that I posted maternity pictures of my good friend and her daughter, just click HERE. Well, just a week later they welcomed a new baby girl! So, of course I had to go over and get some pictures of the newest addition! It took us awhile to get this alert little girl to sleep but it was well worth the wait! She is itty-bitty (although it doesn't take much for me to think that since my last one was HUGE) and has a lot of dark hair! She is already adored by her entire family, especially her BIG sister!   Sigh, I already miss that sweet, perfectly smooth newborn skin!   Alright, here she is!

Little Miss "M": 2 years old | Northern Virginia Children Photographer

On Friday I met up with sweet little Miss "M" at River Farm down off the GW Parkway in Alexandria. This is a great place for children's pictures!  It was soooo hot and muggy but we had a great time following miss "M" around as she explored the gardens and spotted bugs which she demanded we promptly remove! :-)  Such a girly girl, I love it!  She has 2 older sisters, so she's much more mature and wiser than the average 2 year old.  So, enjoy meeting Miss "M"!

On Saturday I had the pleasure of meeting this adorable family in Old Town Alexandria. "C" is almost 2 and is such a cute little guy, I love how they talk at this age! I'm sure you'll adore his blue eyes and curly blond hair as much as I did! Thanks guys for a fun evening!
