Dustin & Alison: Georgetown

Get ready for one big blog post! Yesterday Noah Hayes and I hit Georgetown with Dustin & Alison. We'll be doing their wedding in association with Armin DeFiesta in May! The weather was perfect yesterday and we had a great time finding some really unique places to shoot, it's really endless in Georgetown so it was hard to narrow down! Check out Noah's post too!

I've been dying for the trees to change and this was about the only thing I could find that is evidence of fall coming. Isn't it an awesome tree!

And so we meet again...

In June I had the pleasure of taking these sweet little girls pictures on a very hot morning. Since they are so cute and sweet the pictures turned out great! So, I was so excited when mom called again wanting family pictures done in the fall! I love being able to see my families over and over again and to see them grow and change. So, we headed down to Old Town with the whole family this time. I had the perfect weather and the perfect subjects.

Grown-ups!

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE working with kids. But, every once in awhile it's nice to work with adults. For one, they take direction pretty well, and two, I don't have to chase them, well, most of the time. :-) I had a great time on Saturday with Al & Lyndsie down at the monuments (and I only had to chase Al once!) We also had fun with their sweet puppy Lulu! One of the friendliest dogs on earth! Al and Lyndsie have their first anniversary coming up so, wish them a happy anniversary and tell them how fabulous they look!

Funny story behind this one. You need a permit to shoot at the monuments and we didn't have one. So, I told them to act casual and that I would walk ahead and then they should follow. Once I saw there were no park police around I set up the shot and told them that if anyone walked up that I was going to just pretend we weren't together. So of course, after I got them into this very posed and awkward position one walked towards me. I turned away and walked inside the monument, acting like a typical tourist leaving them standing there alone, looking like this...
